Lefty buddhist malcontent, 44, seeks M w/similar interests

Me: SWF, 44, passionate, politically aware, very very liberal writer/blogger/artist & recovering attorney with a somewhat warped sense of humor, a serious attitude, and a penchant for mismatched Chuck Taylors. I love getting lost in places I've never been before and taking random two-lane highways just to see where they go. There's a part of me that would love to get my worldly possessions down to a suitcase of clothes, my laptop, my camera, and a sketchbook, and just go. Spend a few years traveling. See what's out there.

You: creative liberal/lefty/socialist of similar age and interests, living in L.A. (preferably West Side or South Bay, but I'm flexible on this within reason). You don't need to share my spiritual beliefs (small-b buddhist), but if you can't respect them or want to convert me to your religion, please look elsewhere. Good sense of humor is a must. Compatible musical taste is a plus.

Final caveat: while I've dated men who are shorter than me (and will do so again if the guy has a good sense of humor and good personality), I prefer guys who are at least a couple inches taller because I don't like feeling like an Amazon in heels. Don't try to kid me on this point. I'm not blind. If you're not truly taller than I am, don't claim that you are, because you're pegging yourself as a liar before the first time we sit down for coffee.

Or tea.
