My name is Joey. I live in Whitehall in my own apartment. I love a good laugh. I like to joke around a lot and TRY not to take myself too seriously. When I had cable I mostly watched the History Channel, Discovery, Science, or Travel. My former roommates would make fun of me because it was "boring." I don't get how expanding your mind can be boring! Some people will just never understand, I suppose. "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it." - Edmund Burke I think that statement rings incredibly true. I love to learn but can't see myself sitting in a class room. Its a conundrum I contemplate daily. I really love music. I'm a guitar playing singer/song writer. I'd love to be a recording artist some day! Right now i just play the occasional open mic but hopefully i can start playing some local shows. I mostly listen to classic rock, the blues, folk, anything thought provoking with good lyrics and a lot of soul. My dad recently bestowed upon me his rather comprehensive record collection so I'm in music geek heaven! I would love to meet someone who likes music as much as I do. I'm really looking for someone who has the same interests as me. Someone who can hold an intellectually stimulating conversation. A good sense of humor is also a must.
